MY GOODNESS – C’MON DOLL

Garage-rock duo MY GOODNESS are to unveil their debut UK single C’mon Doll on May 28th.

Hailing from Seattle, Joel Schneider and Ethan Jacobsen specialise in snarling, White Stripes-esque riffs, with a sound heavily indebted to the energetic blues-rock championed by the likes of the Black Keys.

It’s loud, raw and deceptively simple. Catch the cinema-based video above.

THE BLACK TAMBOURINES – CHICA EP

The Black Tambourines have been the missing spike in the garage-rock circuit here in the UK. After finishing two tours in the past year with their highly-energetic and beer-fuelled shows, we’re sure a big headline tour is definitely in the works for these Cornwall lads.

CABARET SCENE – PORCELAIN SWIMMERS

Cabaret Scene is the side project of Charles Prest of Flamingods. He creates dreamy, progressive pop sounds that almost always include thoughtful lyrics, catchy guitar riffs and thumping drums. Porcelain Swimmers, the first single for his new album of the same name, comes as an energetic, bouncy song that captures the contradictory nature of the ocean to be both calmly idyllic and a crashing, splashing formidable force.

At a time when the cold weather is forcing everyone to stay indoors like hermits, the song makes you feel like it’s a little bit warmer, and a little bit closer to summer.

You can download the song below, from his soundcloud. Porcelain Swimmers the album drops next month, follow Cabaret Scene on Facebook for more updates.
