TYRANNOSAURUS DEAD – SADIE

Test Icicles man Rory Attwell, also producer for the likes of S.C.U.M, Palma Violets and Yuck worked on a new track from Brighton-based band TYRANNOSAURUS DEAD. They are currently streaming the track Sadie which is taken from their upcoming EP, set to be released under London-based Odd Box Records on 6th May.

AU.RA – SUN

Tim Jenkins from the Australian band Parades and Tom Crandles from Colours gathered together to create the band AU.RA.

Au.Ra is a down to chill electro beat with a mellow voice; the guys have released their first single Sun that you can stream and download for free below.

TAMARYN – THE GARDEN


Artist TAMARYN unveiled a new video for The Garden, a track taken from the new album Tender New Signs.

The Garden reveals portraits of Tamaryn, fading with shots of flowers bringing a colourful, flashy and atmospheric experience.

SPLASHH – SO YOUNG

Hackney-based band SPLASHH are offering a free download of So Young, the B-side coming from their upcoming single Vacation. The track is available to listen from their Soundcloud below and you can download it for free for a week on their Facebook page.

Vacation, will be out on November 5th  through Luv Luv Luv and the band is set to play the NME Generation Next at Koko in London on 30th October.

TAME IMPALA – ELEPHANT (CANYONS WOOLY MAMMOTH REMIX)

Elephant, new single from TAME IMPALA, has recently been remixed by fellow Aussies, CANYONS.

The track introduces an 80′s disco beat and brings actual elephant’s noises. All lingering into pshychedelic vibes.

COVES – NO LADDER (TOY REMIX)

The current ‘band of the moment’ TOY have just unveiled a remix of COVES new single No Ladder.

The lyric free remix of the, originally ethnic, rock track has Toy’s footprint of 60′s psychedelia. Listen below.

WHITE DENIM – DARLENE / GAS ON F

WHITE DENIM, Austin garage/rock/fusion band have recently released two songs recorded during a session for their EP Takes Place In Your Work Space (under Downtown Records) back in 2011.

The two tracks, Darlene and Gas On F are available for free download below.

The roary deep voice of James Petralli mixes with the Texas country music roots of the band to create an indie garage version for ‘Darlene’. Darker, ‘Gas On F’ explores the solo ballad of the depressive world comment genre.

SPLASHH – HEADSPINS

London Grunge-poppers band SPLASHH released their debut single Need It via Luv Luv Luv Records and now unveil the B-side, Headspins for streaming.

The band got our attention a few months ago with the same song, when they first unveiled a bunch of releases online. Only formed in February 2012, the band is rising quickly and already have their first single out in record shops.

QUILT – GONE HOME


The Philly company, Out Of Town Films, unveiled a special version of the song Gone Home, from the band QUILT, and shot in the backyard of musician Daniel Bachman’s house.

The Boston 3 piece psych/folk band took a break in-between two gig dates to deliver this lovely version of the closing song from their self-titled debut album Quilt, in a very chilled environment.

Daniel Bachman, Philly musician and friend of the band is the special guest in this version where he brings some smooth electric guitar to straighten the usually slow tone folk track, and gives it a new sound.

The video shows the band and Bachman, sitting on some old outdoor chairs in a fresh garden and performing the track with a whole new level of hypnotism.
