New York based foursome, THE WIVES, uploaded a three track demo tape to bandcamp last month. Creatively titled Demo, it’s a triple helping of scratchy lo-fi fare, sometimes veering tentatively into the music of the wild west but always under the umbrella of garage rock. Brooklyn Beats (below) is a sprawling nugget of tweaked out jangling riffs and background screeches. Listen to the whole thing here.
