
COLD PUMAS man Dan Reeves has released an album under the moniker of THE SOFT WALLS, available for download through Faux Discx or for purchase on tape through Suplex Cassettes.
From the XX-like minimalist majesty of highlight Black Cat to the richly ambient House Concern, the record veers from eerie psychedelia to throbbing krautrock in its thirty-so minutes but rarely severs itself from its roots of lilting acoustic guitar. When it does, though, as on the vicious, dissonant roar of Best If I Go, it’s particularly exciting. Listen below.
