Lo-fi’s latest ‘supergroup’ consists of Vivian Girls’ Cassie Ramone and Kevin Morby from Woods joining forces under the moniker of THE BABIES.
Their forthcoming single, Moonlight Mile, evokes a strange sense of vintage nostalgia that you can’t really seem to definitively place; rock ‘n’ roll dé-ja-vu. I personally believe that this music feels like it is best enjoyed whilst cruising through the Nevada desert in a a red cadillac outrunning some kind of federal agents that are trying to imprison you for a crime you didn’t commit.
