Bristol post-punks IDLES have created a music video, directed by Felix Drake, for the forthcoming release of 26/27.
The verse featured an intentionally monotonous drum beat underneath swelling guitars and an Ian Curtis-esque vulnerable vocal that recalls the work of Interpol, whereas the development in the chorus reminisces of Foals’ Total Life Forever.
The video sees a gaggle of alternative kids being doing, urm…alternative things.
The EP Welcome upon which 26/27 appears will be released on August 4th through Fear Of Fiction.
