Bay area hardcore punk from this San Franciscan five piece. Formed in 2005, CEREMONY were recently picked up by Matador Records who released the thrash heavy Zoo album in 2012.
The idea for Zoo came to Ross Farrar while he was watching television when he felt the sensation of being in a zoo – “paying to be a voyeur.” The album attempts to “look at humans from a welcoming perspective.”
Relentless touring of that LP throughout May and June means they’ll have a few short weeks to recharge before hitting the festival circuit in August.
