
SEXBEAT and Nudie Jeans Co. are pleased to announce RADFEST III
will take place on August 21. After last years sell out show at Corsica the event has expanded to the 1000 capacity Bussey Building, Peckham with two floors of live music and a roof garden over looking the city.
Indie pop institution The Wedding Present are this years special guest headliners and will be playing a ‘hit parade’ of material from early records George Best and Bizarro as well as some new numbers.
The rest of the line up features Trash Talk, SCUM, Mazes, Shimmering Stars, Gross Magic, The History Of Apple Pie, Mob Rules with more announcements to follow.
As well as the live bands, Poster Roast return to exhibit their vast collection of screen print gig posters as well as live screening of the RADFEST poster. Dalston’s brand new record store ‘Kristina Records‘ host a pop up record store with hand picked gems from their shop on Kingsland Road. Zine Swap will be bringing their 300+, Tate Modern featured archive of fanzines for perusal and purchase. As with last year, there will be a free mixtape with original artwork featuring a song from each artist playing for the first 100 people to the show.
The Bussey Building, a former factory also houses the influential Hannah Barry Gallery. The festival joins a wealth of summer activity in the area including Franks Campari pop up bar and the Bold Tendencies roof top sculpture park.
